This book is very helpful for firefighters wanting to move into an instructor role. IFSTA lays out information very well and walks the new instructor through roles and responsibilities. In the fire service, many are surprised at how often teaching or instructing plays a role in our daily routine/5(15).
Compared to another Fire Instructor class I took this book has a lot more information in it, but that class was more about giving presentations, and this book is more on the the fundamentals of adult learning.
